Overview
Pasadena City College (PCC) stands as a distinguished public community college, tracing its roots back to its foundation in 1924 on the Pasadena High School Campus. Originally established as Pasadena Junior College with a modest enrollment of 267 students, PCC quickly earned recognition as one of the earliest Junior Colleges in the Southwest U.S. Governed by a Board of Trustees comprising nine members, the institution operates under the Pasadena Area Community College District (PACCD) with a commitment to Shared Governance.

The Foothill Campus, or Satellite Campus, extends educational offerings with a Community Education Centre, emphasizing non-credit and credit courses, including programs in Cosmetology and Health Sciences.
